Bishop Wilson Church of England Primary School

Preliminary consultation has begun on proposals for the new school that will see it relocated at the heart of the new Craig Croft Village Centre, on the site of the former St Patrick's Primary School.

Smiths Wood Community Primary School

Smiths Wood Community Primary School was opened in March 2009 at an overall cost of £8m. It represents the combination of two separate primary schools (Bosworth Wood and Kingfisher) and opened as such in September 2009.

Windy Arbor Primary School

It is intended that Windy Arbor will be totally rebuilt with brand-new facilities on the same site and the existing school will stay open until the new one is built.    Windy Arbor, Coleshill Heath and Hatchford Primary Schools are all part of what will be Phase 3 of the Primary School Rebuilding Programme because they are included within an exciting new federation that will enable planning, management and resources to be shared in an integrated arrangement targeted at the improvement of educational attainment across all three schools.

Hatchford Primary School

Following public consultation the existing Hatchford School is being expanded to incorporate pupils from Bennetts Well Primary School in September 2010.   Bennetts Well will close as a consequence in July 2010.

St Anthony's Catholic Primary School

It is intended that the Council and the Archdiocese of Birmingham will create linked proposals for St John the Baptist and St Anthony's Catholic schools.   The priority will be to ensure that local children can still receive a catholic education and benefit from a brand-new school.

Alcott Hall Primary School

Following public consultation the existing Coleshill Heath Primary School is being expanded to incorporate pupils from Alcott Hall Primary School in September 2010. Alcott Hall will close as a consequence in July 2010.
