Our promise to you

We will consult local people on all aspects of the regeneration programme possible, through consultation activities designed to make sure local people get involved.

 

Our principles:

  • We will use consultation materials that are clear, easy to understand and are jargon free.
  • When we hold consultation events we will use local venues.
  • Consultation events will be held at different times including an evening or Saturday to give everyone an opportunity to attend.
  • Friendly, professional staff will always be available to explain the proposals to you and be knowledgeable enough to answer your questions.
  • All consultations are also available on our website.
  • Consultation is a two-way process.
  • We will talk to existing groups and community networks to encourage everyone to take part.
  • Every ones comments are important to us and will be fed into the process for consideration.
  • Results of consultation will be shared with local people.
  • Sometimes a decision may be made that does not fully reflect the results of consultation. If this happens, a full explanation of the thinking behind the decision will be provided
